New New Blog and Forums

Our old domain name expired and the person in charge of it left Rumble a while ago, so we had to get a new domain name.

Also, at the same time, ipbfree went down due to legal issues and our forums were lost forever. We now host our own forums at:

Happy Halloween: SSBR v0.6 Released!

What's New:
-Collision Detection Added!
-Dynamic Camera Added!
-Character Selection Screen Complete!
-Stage Select Added
-Custom Font Added
-Timer Added
-Basic Character and Stage Attributes System Added (Makes adding them easier and unique)
+See how Luigi moves slower but jumps higher than Mario
-Save System Added (No use for it yet)
-21 Characters Added!
+If you pick a character and it loads Diddy, it means they don't have a strip yet!
-2 Stages Added!
-Lots of Issues Fixed!
-Basic Control Added!

You can only play as one player, no cpus yet. Don't fret though, the next demo will definitely have cpus (and hopefully some AI).

Game Cart

I was a little bored and wanted to see what I could do with Photoshop, while doing something for SSBR. The result is this-

I made a cover for a game cart (My R4) and I think it turned out pretty well. If you want the image to do the same thing download it Here (Some resizing required).

Updates

Hi It's Oblivian Studios!
WolfSpider had just sent me his code to look at and I've added actual rooms for
-Data
-Solo
-Multi
-Options
all it says is "(Insert room name) is not ready. Please press B to go back". Although we will be converting to C++ because its easier to code in C++ and a lot neater. So I will redo it but you'll see it in the next demo.

New Coders Possible

Me and OblivianStudio will be coding. Welcome back OblivianStudio! And theres 2 other people that might code Stratton(Strata) and someone PineApple. If Stratton codes were going to use C++ and try to use the latest Palib that should fix some bugs. Now the game should be 4x faster made and 4x better!

Demo 0.5 Released

For the first time SSBRumble has a changelog.
Heres the demo 0.5 changelog

-When fighting press L+R+A+Select for no contest
-Added a cpu all it will do it follow you(has no runing animations)
-Fixed the Title Screen Bug
-Made the title screen faster
-Made the fade in and out while using the game menu faster
-Added more to the Character Select Screen
-Added Character Jumping Sound
-Added Nintendo DS Stage Music(no NDS stage yet)
-When all characters and computers are chosen you will here a sound
-Modified GameIcon
